小嵐龍輔

　作曲　編曲　ギター　ウクレレ　鍵盤ハーモニカ　音楽理論

　2000年頃より演奏活動を始め、様々な人や楽器と様々な場所で共に演奏した。路上、ライブハウス、レストラン、バー、飲み屋、老人ホーム、コンサートホールなど。2003年頃から楽器店の講師としてギターの指導をはじめた。2007年に渡英、奨学金を得て、ロンドンのギルドホール音楽院でまなんだ。在学中の2010年に、作品、箏のための「雨の下に」、箏と三味線のための「蛍」が現代音楽のグループ、[rout]に委嘱され、オケアノスのメンバーによってロンドンにて演奏された。2011年頃から、鍵盤ハーモニカをつかった活動をはじめる。遠山麻友美(ピアノ・鍵盤ハーモニカ)と行っているユニット、ポケットペンギンからは二枚のCDがある。2013年までに同ユニット、ギターと鍵盤ハーモニカのために、大小300曲以上のレパートリーを作・編曲した。2013年頃から鍵盤ハーモニカを使ったアンサンブルをはじめた。今までに日本、イギリス、トルコなどで演奏した。現在は英国ロンドンに在住。

　ギター、音楽理論、ソルフェージュを独学ではじめたが、その後、ギターを藤井敬吾氏、ロバート・ブライトモア氏と、作曲をポール・ニューランド氏と学んだ。また和声と対位法をダニエル・シュクロイエンス氏、アレッサンドロ・ティモシ氏と学んだ。専門以外では、ピアノを笠原雅代氏、テオルボをデヴィッド・ミラー氏、セタールをアリ・ケシャワルズ氏、ティヌーシュ・バーラミ氏と学んだ。

Ryusuke Koarashi

Ryusuke was born in a rural town in Japan. He studied at the Guildhall school of music and drama in London. His guitar teachers include Keigo Fujii and Robert Brightmore. His composition teachers include Paul Newland. His works “hotaru” and “amenoshitani” were commissioned by [rout] and premiered by Okeanos in 2010 in London. He performed at various places in Japan, U.K. and Turkey.
His music projects include an acoustic duo, Pocket Penguin (formerly, Duo Penguinistan) with a pianist/melodica player, Ayumi Toyama. During 2011-2013, he arranged and composed more than 300 pieces for the duo—particularly focusing on the combination of melodica and guitar. Two albums are currently available from Pocket Penguin’s website. He started a melodica ensemble in 2013, and has been gaining wide range of repertoire for the ensemble.
